WaterSafe: A Water Network Benchmark for Fault Diagnosis Research

Currently, in the water distribution systems literature, fault detection methods are typically evaluated on benchmark networks that do not include real-time experimental data, or private commercial datasets, which prohibit reproducibility of results. Moreover, realistic modeling faults hydraulic system components, sensors and actuators is often unavailable. In this work, we provide a framework for application fault-diagnosis methodologies WaterSafe, network diagnosis. The WaterSafe small scale replica transport constructed using industrial components devices, while communications implemented way resemble utility's Supervisory Control Data Acquisition system.
